The Twenty First Sunday of the Year
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Welcome to the St. Agatha Ministry and our Campus Ministry at the College of Charleston! Whether you are joining us for the first time or have been with us for a while, we are grateful for your presence.
This year, I look forward to seeing how we will grow in our faith and deepen our encounters with our Lord Jesus Christ, especially in the Eucharist and the sacramental life of the Church, as well as in the hearts of our community members.
We are thrilled to welcome Kendall Mullen as our new Campus Minister. Kendall brings a heart full of love for Christ and for you! She will begin her ministry with us on Wednesday, August 28th, and I am confident she will be a great blessing to our community. Please join me in giving her a warm welcome.
We are honored that God will place us under the patronage of St. Agatha of Sicily, Virgin and Martyr. Her strength and purity are an inspiration to us all. As we prepare to entrust our ministry to her on February 5th, 2025, let us look to her example of steadfast faith and courage in our own lives. Stay tuned for more details on this significant event, which I hope will be a lasting memory for our community.
Be sure to check out our new website, www.CofCCatholic.org, and connect with us on GroupMe and FlockNote to stay informed about our upcoming events. We hope to see you often at the St. Katherine Drexel House and other gatherings!
The St. Katherine Drexel House will be open for students daily from 8am to 9pm, beginning Wednesday, August 28th. We will provide more information soon about how to access the house.
It is my great joy to serve as your chaplain. I look forward to getting to know you more in the coming year and to walking with you as a source of support and encouragement throughout your college journey.
Peace and Good,
